Chinon Chateau

Creation of the
ENTRANCE GATE

The Royal Fortress of Chinon, a complex of three castles (the Fort du Coudray, Château du Milieu and Fort Saint-Georges) is located in the French town of Chinon (Indre-et-Loire), in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Its construction dates back to the 12th century.

The modern, designer entrance gate was designed by Arnaud de Saint Joan, chief architect of Monuments Historiques.
