General restoration
OF THE BELVEDERE
The gazebo is located at the top of the “grand labyrinthe”, a mound crossed by a spiral path in the western part of the Jardin des plantes in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, near Rue Geoffroy-Saint-Hilaire. It is a circular iron and bronze belvedere measuring around 4 metres in diameter.
La Forge d’Art Loubière undertook the restoration of this work with the support of François Botton, chief architect of Monuments Historiques.
