Restoration of the gate
AND THE MAIN COURTYARD
The Château de Maisons, commonly known as the Château de Maisons Laffitte (originally the Château de Maisons-sur-Seine), located in the département of Yvelines, is considered to be a masterpiece of 17th-century civil architecture. A landmark in the history of French architecture, and associated with the name of François Mansart, it marks the transition between late Renaissance and Classicist architecture.
We renovated the château’s entrance gates, and main courtyard under the supervision of Stéphan Mancieulescu, chief architect of Monuments Historiques.
